Three homeschool experts share their advice and answer your questions!

Sonlight has invited three incredible homeschoolers to host this teleseminar. Their combined personal homeschool experience alone is over 45 years! They also now work year-round to educate, advise and encourage parents just like you. That's another 32 years of expert insight. Who are they?:

Jill Evely

Jill Evely began homeschooling when she pulled her 7th grade son out of public school at Thanksgiving time, 1990. The following year, she removed her 6th and 4th grade sons from public school and began teaching them, too. Including her kindergarten daughter and 2 year old, Jill has now been homeschooling for 17 years.

Today, her oldest two sons are married. The one she brought home at Thanksgiving is now an electrical engineer; the other is a retail manager. Her third son is a successful computer engineer. After graduating from their homeschool, her daughter is now a Junior at the University of Kentucky. Jill is currently homeschooling her youngest child, who is a senior in their homeschool this year and has been accepted to the University of Kentucky for the fall.

Jill has counseled new and seasoned homeschoolers, in a local support group and through her work with Sonlight Curriculum, for over 12 years.

Judy Wnuk

Judy Wnuk and her husband have 3 children, ages 12–17. All of them have been homeschooled since birth! Their formal homeschooling decision was made, in part, after praying for and encouraging some close friends who were pulling their oldest son from a public school setting.

For the past 10 years, Judy has been a popular speaker at homeschool support groups. She also regularly counsels new and veteran homeschoolers through her work with Sonlight Curriculum.

Kelly Lutman

Kelly Lutman and her husband have 3 sons, ages 16–24. They have done homeschool since 1990, when they realized that their middle son, who was already an accomplished reader, would not fit into a traditional Kindergarten. Following the example and encouragement of friends, they launched into homeschooling, bringing the oldest one home from public school to join the fun.

Kelly has also spent the last 10 years working with Sonlight. She counsels new and experienced homeschoolers every day.

Jill, Judy and Kelly have been through it all—and helped others like you do it, too. Of all the issues that worry (even frighten) parents of school kids, changing schools may be the worst. But it doesn't have to be a stressful time. Let these Moms share their priceless experience with you.
